Generation Issues
"Generation failed" error
This can happen when:
- • Product name is too short or vague
- • You've hit your monthly limit
- • There's a temporary server issue
Fix: Add more details to your product, check your usage limits, or try again in a few minutes.
Output quality is poor
Try these improvements:
- • Add more specific keywords (3-5 recommended)
- • Include detailed features and benefits
- • Use competitor analysis for context
- • Set up a brand voice for consistency
SEO score is low
To improve your score:
- • Add relevant keywords before generating
- • Regenerate—each attempt varies
- • Manually edit to add missing keywords
Account Issues
Can't log in
- • Check your email spelling
- • Use "Forgot Password" to reset
- • Clear browser cookies and try again
- • Try a different browser
Usage limit reached but I didn't use that many
Each generation counts toward your limit, including regenerations and failed attempts. Check Dashboard → Analytics → Usage for detailed breakdown.
Integration Issues
Shopify won't connect
- • Ensure you're the store owner or have staff permissions
- • Check that your store URL is correct (use .myshopify.com format)
- • Disable ad blockers during connection
- • Try disconnecting and reconnecting
Products not syncing from Shopify
- • Only published products are synced
- • Click "Sync Now" to force a refresh
- • Check that the Copyly app is still installed in Shopify admin
Competitor URL not working
- • Some sites block scraping—try a different competitor
- • Use direct product page URLs, not category pages
- • Amazon works best; some custom sites may fail
Zapier webhook not triggering
- • Verify the webhook URL is correct
- • Check that events are enabled in settings
- • Ensure your Zap is turned on
- • Check Zapier's task history for errors
API Issues
401 Unauthorized error
Your API key is invalid or missing. Check that you're including theAuthorization: Bearer YOUR_KEYheader correctly.
429 Rate limit exceeded
You've hit your rate limit. Wait a few seconds between requests, or upgrade your plan for higher limits.
