Brand Voice

Train Copyly to write in your brand's unique voice for consistent messaging.

What is Brand Voice?

Brand voice is your company's unique personality expressed through words. It includes your tone, vocabulary, and communication style. Copyly's Brand Voice feature learns from examples you provide and applies that style to every description it generates.

Creating a Brand Voice

  1. Navigate to Dashboard → Brand Voice
  2. Click "Create New Voice"
  3. Give it a name (e.g., "Main Brand", "Premium Line")
  4. Provide 3-5 example texts that represent your brand
  5. Describe your brand's personality traits
  6. Save and start using it in generations

Brand Voice Settings

Voice Name

A descriptive name to identify this voice. You can have multiple voices for different product lines or audiences.

Sample Texts

Paste 3-5 examples of your existing copy. These could be product descriptions, marketing emails, or website copy. The AI learns patterns from these samples.

Personality Traits

Describe your brand in adjectives: "friendly, knowledgeable, slightly humorous, never salesy, uses simple language".

Words to Avoid

List words or phrases that don't fit your brand: "cheap, discount, game-changer, revolutionary".

Using Brand Voice

Once created, your brand voices appear in the generator:

  • Single generation: Select from the Brand Voice dropdown
  • Bulk generation: Choose a default voice for the batch
  • Shopify sync: Set a voice for auto-generated descriptions

Tips for Great Brand Voice

  • Be specific: "Friendly but professional" is better than just "nice"
  • Use real examples: Your best-performing copy makes the best training data
  • Iterate: Refine your voice based on output quality
  • Create multiples: Different product lines may need different voices

Examples

Luxury Brand Voice

"Sophisticated, understated elegance. Use words like 'crafted', 'curated', 'refined'. Never use 'cheap', 'deal', or exclamation marks. Sentences are measured and confident."

DTC Startup Voice

"Friendly and approachable. Use casual language, contractions, occasional humor. Speak like a helpful friend, not a salesperson. Okay to use emojis sparingly."
