Overview
The Product Catalog is your central hub for managing products. Store product details, generate descriptions, track versions, and sync with external platforms—all in one place.
Adding Products
Add products to your catalog in three ways:
Manual Entry
Click "Add Product" and fill in the details: name, SKU, brand, category, price, features, and keywords.
CSV Import
Click "Import" and upload a CSV file. Map your columns to Copyly fields and import up to 500 products at once.
Shopify Sync
Connect your Shopify store and sync all products with one click. Products stay linked for easy updates.
Product Details
Each product stores:
- • Name: Product title
- • SKU: Unique identifier
- • Brand: Manufacturer or brand name
- • Category: Product category
- • Price: Current price
- • Description: Current product description
- • Features: Key features list
- • Keywords: Target SEO keywords
- • Image: Product image URL
- • Status: Draft, Active, or Archived
Generating Descriptions
From any product in your catalog:
- Click the product to open details
- Go to the "AI Description" tab
- Select tone and brand voice
- Click "Generate"
- Edit if needed, then "Save"
Filtering & Search
Find products quickly using:
- • Search: By name, SKU, or brand
- • Status filter: Draft, Active, Archived
- • Category filter: Filter by product category
Pro Tips
- • Keep your catalog updated—sync from Shopify regularly
- • Add keywords to products for better AI-generated descriptions
- • Use statuses to track which products need new descriptions
- • Archive old products instead of deleting them
