Shopify Integration
Connect your Shopify store to sync products and auto-optimize descriptions.
Connecting Your Store
- Go to Dashboard → Integrations
- Click "Connect Shopify"
- Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com)
- Click "Install App"
- Authorize Copyly in the Shopify popup
- You're connected! 🎉
Features
Product Sync
Import all products from Shopify with one click. Products stay linked for easy updates.
Push Descriptions
Generate descriptions in Copyly and push them directly to your Shopify products.
Auto-Optimize
Enable automatic description generation when new products are added to your store.
Bulk Update
Generate and push descriptions for multiple products at once.
Auto-Optimize Settings
When enabled, Copyly automatically generates descriptions for new products:
- • Trigger: New product created in Shopify
- • Tone: Select default tone for auto-generated copy
- • Brand Voice: Use your saved brand voice
- • Auto-push: Optionally push back to Shopify immediately
Configure in Dashboard → Integrations → Shopify → Settings
Permissions Required
Copyly requests these Shopify permissions:
- • read_products: View your product catalog
- • write_products: Update product descriptions
We never access customer data, orders, or payment information.
Disconnecting
To disconnect Shopify, go to Dashboard → Integrations → Shopifyand click "Disconnect". Your products in Copyly will remain but will no longer sync. You can also uninstall from your Shopify admin.
Troubleshooting
- • Can't connect? Make sure you're the store owner or have staff permissions
- • Products not syncing? Check that products are published in Shopify
- • Push failing? Verify write_products permission is granted
