Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing the Copyly app or creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service Description
Copyly provides AI-powered product description generation for e-commerce. We use OpenAI's GPT-4 to generate SEO-optimized descriptions based on your product information.
3. Shopify App Terms
When using Copyly through Shopify, you also agree to Shopify's Terms of Service. Billing for the Shopify app is handled through Shopify Billing. You may cancel anytime through the Shopify admin.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining account security. You must be 18+ or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. One account per person/business unless otherwise agreed.
5. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Shopify Billing or Stripe. All plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel before the trial ends with no charge. Refunds are provided at our discretion or as required by law.
6. Usage Limits
Free: 10 generations/month. Starter: 100/month. Pro: 500/month. Agency: Unlimited. Limits reset on billing date. Unused generations do not roll over.
7. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You own all descriptions generated for your products. We claim no ownership.
Our Platform: We retain all rights to Copyly's technology, design, and codebase.
8. Acceptable Use
You may NOT: generate misleading/false product claims, create content that violates laws, attempt to reverse-engineer the service, resell access without Agency plan, use the service for spam or fraud.
9. AI-Generated Content
AI-generated descriptions should be reviewed before publishing. We do not guarantee accuracy of generated content. You are responsible for ensuring descriptions comply with advertising laws in your jurisdiction.
10. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
11. Termination
You may cancel anytime. We may suspend accounts for Terms violations with notice. Upon termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: Our liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months preceding a claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Copyly against claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
